Arkema Inc. recently commissioned an independent research firm to survey architects on their preference for Kynar 500® PVDF. As described in this video, findings showed that 9 out of 10 architects surveyed preferred Kynar 500® resin-based coatings. This is nearly double the preference for its next two competitors. According to the study, this inclination for Kynar 500® is due to its strong performance in areas such as corrosion resistance, weatherability, and color retention. Arkema’s Kynar 500® resin is widely-used in coatings for metal roofing, wall panels and related components.
