Prepared by the Roofing Industry Committee on Weather Issues Inc. (RICOWI Inc.), in cooperation with Oak Ridge National Laboratory, this report evaluates the effects of a significant hailstorm that passed through portions of Oklahoma City, OK, on April 21, 2004. The purpose of the project was to document the effects of hail impact on a variety of roofing products, and to describe roof assembly performance and modes of damage for substantiate hailstone sizes.
