PPG has published a new white paper intended to help architects and other building professionals more effectively manage color expectations so that their paint-finished metal construction products arrive at the job site coated in the colors specified; and components produced by different coating applicators appear as a coordinated whole when installed together on the building.
The eight-page document briefly mentions some of the many coatings options available for metal, and then goes in-depth to explain the many variables that can cause components of a like color to look slightly different when installed next to each other on the building. The document also introduces the PPG Certified Applicator Program, which provides a guarantee against such differences.
