Published by the Copper Development Association, in cooperation with the Canadian Copper & Brass Development Association, the Copper Design Handbook is the most comprehensive resource about copper’s properties, existing technology and application to the educational, design and construction fields as currently exists. It is available for purchase but can also be viewed online.
The Copper Design Handbook features five sections: Technical Discussion; Installation Equipment and Tools; Designs; Architectural Details and Architectural Specifications. Under each section are numerous subsections. The details section is the handbook’s most extensive area and includes details categorized as basic; roofing systems; flashing and copings; gutters and downspouts; building expansion joints; wall cladding; and domes, spires and vaults. The details section is available as a downloadable AutoCAD file.
