West Haven City Hall
Utah Project Utilizes MBCI Curved BattenLok SSR System
From an architectural standpoint, the new West Haven City Hall in Ogden, UT, needed to be innovative and bold, yet warm and inviting. Solerno Architects of Ogden succeeded in creating such a building and environment by mixing masonry with metal for its design.
Used in conjunction with the building’s many sizes, shapes, textures and colors of masonry was more than 11,000 sq. ft. of MBCI Curved and Straight BattenLok roofing. The system’s panels were formed from Galvalume-coated steel and finished with MBCI’s Signature Series 300 Metallic PVDF paint in a Copper Metallic color. Curved BattenLok panels are 16” wide and can be curved to a radius of 20’. They can be installed over open framing or solid decking.
The project’s general contractor was Big “D” Construction. All Metals Fabrications installed the metal roof. Both companies are headquartered in Ogden.
