CENTRIA’s Formawall® Dimension Series® Insulated Panels Featured On Sister Museums In California

At the entrance to California’s 4,500-acre Diamond Valley Lake lies the Water + Life Museums spread out over a 23-acre campus. The slender steel towers of sister museums – The center for Water Education and Western Center for Archaeology and Paleontology – along with classrooms, offices, gift shops, laboratories and education landscape celebrate southern California’s water infrastructure.

The water museum’s mission is to develop the public as stewards of water and water conservation. The archaeological center houses an interactive theater, research lab and specimen storage of Pleistocene era bedrock. Located in Hemet, CA, the museum campus was built to achieve LEED Platinum certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.

From solar panels to interior lighting to CENTRIA’s Formawall® Dimension Series® insulated panels, the building program is a living example of sustainability and conservation, which further connects the notions of water and life. Formawall Dimension Series is the very first exterior building product to achieve Cradle to Cradle CertificationCM.

The architect/construction manager was Lehrer+Gangi Design+Build, Hemet, CA (Lehrer Architects – Los Angeles, CA and Gangi Architects – Burbank, CA). The CENTRIA dealer/installer was Pacific Erectors, Rocklin, CA. The CENTRIA product used was Formawall® Dimension Series® Striated panels.
