RHEINZINK® Highlights Award-Winning Mixed Use Project
Approximately 55,000 sq. ft. of RHEINZINK® 0.8mm/22 gauge Preweathered Flat Lock Tile was used on the expansive Station Landing project in Medford, MA. Occupying a former industrial and retail site along the Mystic River, Station Landing’s master plan features over one million square feet of mixed-use and retail development.
The project received a Commonwealth of Massachusetts 2006 Smart Growth Award and was cited as being an outstanding local and national model for smart growth design. The architect on the project was Elkus/Manfredi Architects, Boston. The general contractor was Cranshaw Construction, Newton Lower Fall, MA, and the RHEINZINK fabricator/installer was Commonwealth Builders, Rockland, MA.
