LEED Platinum Auto Dealership Features VICWEST ACM Panels
A pre-approved manufacturer of products for Toyota’s Image USA branding program, VICWEST had the distinction of providing aluminum composite wall panels for North America’s first LEED Platinum-rated automobile dealership.
Located in Eugene, Oregon, Kendall Toyota has a combined 59,000 sq. ft. of showroom and service space. The ACM panels that wrap its exterior were supplied in Toyota Silver, Black and White colors.
The panels were fabricated by VICWEST from Reynobond® ACM planks. Reynobond is a product of Alcoa Architectural Products. The panels were then installed by Smith Sheet Metal of Eugene using VICWEST’s proprietary Mercury attachment system.
The project was completed in 2007. Vik Construction Co. of Eugene was the general contractor.
