Familiar Baltimore Landmark Topped By Metal Roofing From Metal-Fab Manufacturing

Located in the Canton section of Baltimore, MD, near the vibrant Inner Harbor area, the 1st Mariner Bank building is a recognizable landmark on the scenic landscape. Playing a prominent role in the sleek but dignified appearance of the high-rise structure is metal roofing by Metal-Fab Manufacturing (MetFab).

The building features 35,000 sq. ft. of MetFab III Panels, in a Hartford Green color. The contractor was Kalkreuth Roofing of Frederick, MD.

MetFab III is a commercial product that is structural and pleasing to the eye. The 2”-high mechanically-seam panels can be installed in low slope applications as well as on steeper slopes, and they can be formed from galvanized steel with a Kynar 500® finish, Galvalume®-coated steel with a Kynar 500® finish, Galvalume Plus®, aluminum with a Kynar 500® finish, copper, or lead-coated copper. MetFab III Panels can be factory manufactured and shipped to the job, or site run for continuous length panels.

MetFab supplies a wide range of metal roofing and wall panels, as well as column covers, trim, accessories and related products. The company also offers custom fabrication services.

MetFab’s color palette includes both old favorites and new ones, appealing to a wider, more diverse segment of the architectural/design community as well as to residential markets. MetFab’s color finishes are among the best and most durable resin formulas on the market today, with stubborn resistance to chalking, erosion and industrial pollutants.

MetFab panels are designed with innovative locking systems that make field fabrication and installation easier than ever. MetFab is and continues to be a company with vision that spans the present and the future--meeting today's needs while forging a path ahead with new, innovative designs and products for tomorrow.
