Whirlwind Names Paul Fredrickson As New Vice President Of Sales
Houston, TX – Whirlwind Steel has announced the appointment of Paul Fredrickson to the position of Vice President of Sales. Whirlwind Steel Buildings, Inc. is an industry leader in pre-engineered steel buildings and steel building components, with manufacturing plants in Texas, Georgia, Minnesota and Oklahoma.
Fredrickson brings more than 30 years of sales experience to Whirlwind Steel. His most recent position was as VP of Sales & Marketing with Tampa-based Meadow Burke, a distributor of products for the construction industry. Meadow Burke is a division of Oldcastle, North America’s largest manufacturer of building products and materials. While there, he was responsible for significant sales growth, despite a depressed commercial construction market, and for developing and introducing new product lines to the market. Prior to his position with Meadow Burke, Fredrickson was VP of Sales and Marketing at Commercial Metals Company, a Dallas-based Fortune 500 company producing steel and fabricated metal products.
Fredrickson began his career with Northeast Ohio-based ERICO, Inc., where he spent 20 years in a number of sales positions. He holds a BA in Business Administration from Seattle Pacific University and an EMBA from Case Western Reserve University's Weatherhead School of Management in Cleveland.
