Waterloo, IN - Nucor Building Systems, a leading manufacturer of metal building systems, announces the introduction of its Utility Buildings – using fully assembled, light-gauge galvanized steel framing to save time and money. Nucor Utility Buildings utilize panelized construction and pre-assembled floor plans to offer faster construction with no need for heavy equipment.
Many options are available with Nucor Utility Buildings, which are available in sizes from 12' x 18' to 30' x 54' (see chart) in a choice of three standard load cases (see chart). The buildings’ pricing includes structural framing, fasteners and concrete anchors.
Other features of Nucor Utility Buildings include:
• Elimination of expense for column footings
• Pre-assembled roof & wall sections
• Flexible framed opening locations
• Wall panels have a silicone polyester finish with 25 yr. warranty
• Roof panels have a Galvalume or silicone polyester finish with 25 yr. warranty
• Optional door and window kits are available
• Can be finished with common materials such as dry wall, residential insulation, OSB, etc.
