Wyomissing, PA – SFS intec, Inc., a premier manufacturer of engineered fastening systems for the construction industry, has introduced two new products for attachment to metal panel roof systems.
For standing seam roof systems, the new AceClamp® provides a fast, easy, and secure method for anchoring solar systems, conduit, signs, HVAC equipment, walkways, and virtually anything to be mounted on to the roof. The one top-mounted tightening fastener with a locking feature provides fast and easy installation, and ensures that it will not loosen due to thermal movement or vibration. The AceClamp® does not pierce the panels and is constructed of aluminum with stainless hardware, eliminating any corrosion concerns. Two styles are available, the ML for mechanical lock panels and the SL for snap lock panels. Most all panel systems in the market are covered by one of the two designs.
The new SOL-R fastening system, meanwhile, is designed specifically for attachment of photovoltaic systems to exposed fastener metal panel roofs. The SOL-R provides a water tight, flexible, and fast attachment solution. Made of a high-strength, corrosion-proof composite material, it is height adjustable, and able to accommodate most PV rack profiles and system designs. The single central attachment of the SOL-R to the structure provides fast, easy installation without pre-drilling.
