Ornametals Announces Offering Of VMZINC® Rainwater Goods

Cullman, AL - Ornametals Manufacturing, LLC announces it is featuring VMZINC® rainwater goods in its 2011 EuroGutterUSA product offering. In collaboration since 2008, Ornametals and Umicore Building Products, a world leader in the production of zinc, are also teaming up to promote ornaments and other decorative roofing accessories to the historic preservation and renovation markets.
Ornametals manufactures a complete rainwater system including half-round gutter, seamless-weld downspouts, and all accessories in natural VMZINC®, QUARTZ-ZINC® and ANTHRA-ZINC®. Natural VMZINC (shown in the accompanying photo) is the original zinc; shiny and smooth when it comes out of the mill. Natural VMZinc weathers over years to form a beautifully textured grey patina. QUARTZ-ZINC provides a pre-weathered grey that mimics the matte patina that zinc naturally develops over time, while ANTHRA-ZINC is a rich, charcoal black.
