Niles Expanded Metals & Plastics Expands Again

Niles_Finishes.jpgNiles, OH – Niles Expanded Metals & Plastics has announced the opening of Niles Expanded Technologies (NExT), a state-of-the-art research and development and expanded mesh manufacturing facility. The company expanded its building by 7,000 square feet to accommodate the new facility and remodeled 20,000 square feet of existing warehouse space into manufacturing space. The building now occupies a total of 27,000 square feet.

The expansion includes the addition of three new custom-designed production lines, slitting machines and specialized toll processing equipment for precision expanded mesh products.

NExT is located at and operated by Niles Fence & Security Company LLC, 310 N. Pleasant Ave., Niles, OH. Next is an all-new multi-faceted facility that provides precision expanded mesh materials and design solutions to customers. NExT Manufacturing produces the expanded mesh materials for medical, industrial, automotive and renewable energy markets and is ISO 9001-2008 certified. NExT Aerospace produces the expanded mesh materials for military, space and commercial aerospace markets and is the first and only producer of expanded materials in the world to be AS 9100C certified for aviation, space and defense organizations. NExT R&D develops individualized material and project design solutions for all of its industry segments.
