The improved BaySide product line offers exceptional ruggedness and is designed to withstand the most severe environmental conditions. The panels will not rot or absorb water, and offer outstanding expansion and contraction. Based on ASTM E 330 testing, the BaySide metal siding panels demonstrate the ability to resist loads required by building codes for most locations. According to Metal Sales, the durability of steel panels makes them a far superior choice to alternative siding like vinyl, which can become brittle and break in cold weather, or wood, which requires considerable lifetime maintenance.
