MBCI Celebrates 35 Years Of Business

Houston, TX - In July, MBCI will be celebrating its 35th anniversary and 35 years of continued success. Wayne Dickinson, President and CEO of MBCI, attributes this success to its loyal customers and hardworking employees.

“MBCI would not be what it is today if we did not have the support of our customers and the dedication of our employees,” Dickinson said. “MBCI has stressed the importance of customer service since the day we opened our doors, and our customers recognize the additional efforts that our staff provides.”
Founded on July 12, 1976, MBCI opened its first sales office and manufacturing facility in Houston. MBCI began its business manufacturing basic metal building components, such as roofing, siding and light-gauge secondary structural.
MBCI knew to be competitive it had to offer a quality product at a competitive price with better service than others. MBCI built “service after the sale” by initiating three-day delivery for custom manufactured products, a service that in 1976 was unheard of for custom manufactured products.
MBCI now operates 16 manufacturing facilities and sales offices throughout the United States, delivering a wide range of metal products direct to its customers. Additionally, the company continues to provide new product offerings through its dedication to innovation.
Dickinson summarized his thoughts on this milestone year by saying, “Words cannot express the deep appreciation and gratitude we have for our customers. It is because of you that MBCI has become the company we are today. We thank you for your support throughout the last 35 years, and we look forward to serving you for many years to come.”
