Knight Wall Systems And Dow Building Solutions Sign Co-Marketing Agreement For Continuous Insulation Rain Screen System
Deer Park, WA - Knight Wall Systems Inc. announces it has entered into a co-marketing agreement with The Dow Chemical Company, through its Dow Building Solutions business unit, to promote the use of THERMAX™ Wall System from Dow in conjunction with Knight’s CI-System™ for a high thermal performance, continuous insulation rain screen solution.
“The THERMAX Wall System, which incorporates THERMAX continuous insulation (CI) and STYROFOAM™ Brand Spray Polyurethane Foam Insulation (CM series) from Dow, is a perfect fit for a continuous insulation rain screen,” Knight president Doug Knight said. “We’re excited to have the Dow branding, sales and marketing reach as we roll out the CI-System into commercial building projects across the continent.”
Under the new agreement, Dow Building Solutions and Knight Wall Systems will jointly promote the DOW-KNIGHT CI-System featuring THERMAX Wall System, in marketing collateral, websites, trade shows and sales training where appropriate.

“The DOW-KNIGHT CI-System allows for cladding attachment over THERMAX CI at insulation thicknesses up to 3.0 inches* — providing a complete rain screen solution to meet the higher continuous insulation requirements of ASHRAE 90.1”, Knight said. The system’s “drop-in,” all-in-one design and construction can also save time and money by reducing labor and material costs, eliminating the need to manually cut and fit the insulation around girts and requiring fewer materials to reach the same insulation values.
