Kalzip Inc. Appoints Rodger Russ As Product Manager, Americas

Michigan City, IN - As part of an ongoing program to expand its presence in North America, Kalzip, Inc, has appointed Rodger Russ Product Manager for the Americas. In this newly created position, Russ will provide sales and technical support, working with Kalzip’s team of independent sales representatives and the Team Kal network of certified contractor installers to develop more opportunities in the Americas.

“We created this new position to support Kalzip’s current growth in North America. The background and skill set that Rodger brings to the table puts us in a much stronger position to do that. His presence will definitely put our programs and projects into higher gear,” said Dan Vinet, PE, General Manager, Kalzip Inc.

Russ has 25 years of experience in the metal construction industry, working with multiple metal roofing and building manufacturers. He began in the industry as a sheet metal installer in the Chicago area and transitioned into training, and then sales and product development.

His role with Kalzip is to continue the success of what has been achieved in North America and to eventually do the same in South America. “Kalzip has created an excellent footprint in the last few years in North America and it’s definitely poised for growth,” Russ said. “The engineering part of my experience is extremely valuable in talking with architects. It was just a natural next step for me to work with Kalzip to expand visibility of its unique engineering capabilities in North America. Kalzip’s engineering and products have been popular in Europe for 40 plus years and now they’re meeting with great success in the U.S. and Canadian markets.”

Russ also has authored several AIA Continuing Education accredited courses and has been a presenter at RCI and CSI education programs.
