HSA Plans 6th International Steel Framing Conference In Honolulu

Pacific Rim Steel Framing Conference Discounts For Early Registration Are Available Through January 8 For February 17-21, 2010 Event

Honolulu, HI - The Hawaii Pacific Steel Framing Alliance (HSA) announces that the 6th Pacific Rim Steel Framing Conference (PACRIM) will be held February 17-21, 2010 at the Ala Moana Hotel in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Conference chairman Ralph Valentino of Hunt Building Corporation said, “Despite tough economic challenges that are impacting our industry we believe now is the time for companies to re-position themselves to learn more about opportunities for growth in the cold-formed steel (CFS) framing market.” This year’s highlights will be centered around CFS mid-rise building construction, and international opportunities especially in areas affected by natural disasters. Hawaii’s new rail system corridor will offer many opportunities for developers to build vertical along the rail route using with steel framing.

The PACRIM Steel 2010 Conference attracts industry players and experts in the cold-formed steel framing industry from around the world who network, attend educational sessions, exhibit in a trade expo, conduct hands-on steel framing classes, and visit actual steel framing projects under construction. At present, registrants are expected to come from all over the U.S. Mainland and Guam. In addition, many attendees typically attend from Australia, New Zealand, Asia, the Middle East and Europe.
