Dura Coat Granted License To Formulate Coatings With Hylar 5000® Resin
Riverside, CA - Dura Coat Products Inc. has been granted a license by Thorofare, NJ-based Solvay Solexis, authorizing Dura Coat to use Hylar® 5000 PVDF in the manufacture, promotion and sales of their coating products.
In being granted the license, Dura Coat Products joins a select group of coating companies that meet the high coating performance standards, as well as the market presence required to be a Hylar® 5000 licensee.
In order to obtain a Hylar® 5000 license from Solvay Solexis, potential licensees are required to submit to a rigorous qualification process which verifies the performance of their coatings as well as their production capabilities, quality assurance procedures, and technical expertise. Only paint companies with excellent performance and operating standards are granted a Hylar® 5000 license.
The license became effective March 15, 2011.
