Cambridge, MD - Cambridge Architectural, the world’s most experienced – and only – full-service provider of sustainable architectural mesh systems for both interior and exterior building applications, has designed a new rigid metal fabric pattern, called Brick.
As its name suggests, Brick resembles the aesthetic of a brick wall, but in architectural mesh form. Brick features rigid, open weaves that are ideal for interior design applications. The pattern is available in either T304 or T316 stainless steel.
Brick can be produced at a maximum width of 60 inches, and a maximum length of 120 inches. It features a 50% open area, and weighs 2.3 pounds per square foot.
Since the 1960s, Cambridge Architectural has been producing rigid, tightly woven metal panels for building interiors to provide durable, yet aesthetically appealing, products. Brick is the latest addition to a robust roster of rigid metal panels, as well as flexible metal panels most often used on building exteriors.
Like all Cambridge metal fabric patterns, Brick is readily recyclable and manufactured from recycled materials. It also boasts a virtually maintenance-free and indestructible lifecycle, making it a decorative, but sustainable option for interior design. Cambridge is an active member of the USGBC, and helps architects take maximum advantage of LEED credit through the many LEED-NC categories in which architectural mesh systems apply.
