Architectural Building Components Announces New Hires

Houston, TX — Houston-based Architectural Building Components, a premier manufacturer of innovative metal roofing solutions like the 238T roof system and Archzilla™ jobsite manufacturing truck used in low-/steep-slope and complex roofing applications, has announced the appointments of Scott Dendler as chief financial officer and Susan Simon as director of sales and marketing.

Dendler will oversee Architectural Building Components’ company expenditures during a time of rapid growth of the company’s products in the metal roofing and siding industry. He brings nearly 20 years of professional accounting and finance experience to the company. He has worked with a number of industrial and educational entities as a corporate accounting manager, vice president of finance and administration, controller and more.

Dendler received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Oakland University in 1990, and earned his master’s degree in finance from Walsh College in 1999.

As Architectural Building Components’ director of sales and marketing, Simon will generate additional business opportunities through the development of new marketing and sales strategies. With more than 15 years of experience in business development in Houston, Simon will be responsible for helping the company promote the company’s many pioneering metal roofing and siding products and services.

Simon received her Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from the University of Texas in 1993. She has a long record of service in Houston, including volunteering at DePelchin Children’s Center for many years.
