Houston, TX – As a follow-up to its successful introduction of the 138T Symmetrical Panel System for steep-slope roofing, Architectural Building Components has now introduced a curved panel version. While many of its benefits are similar to the 138T Symmetrical System, the Curved 138T system does offer some advantages.

The Curved 138T Symmetrical System Panel comes in 12" and 16” widths and is a superb option for new construction or reroofing on solid deck applications. The panel is seamed and machine-curved on the job site down to a radius of 6’ with 24 gauge steel or .040” aluminum. The curving equipment is lightweight and easily transported to the jobsite for precise manufacturing to field dimensions. One of the major advantages of field forming the Curved 138T Symmetrical System is to eliminate end laps.

The Curved 138T system is an excellent alternative to ABC’s SnapLock-Lo Curved panel because it offers greater performance and unmatched wind uplift resistance.

The Curved 138T system offers the following benefits:

• Individual panel replace ability

• Watertight seam design

• Insulating airspace between deck & panel

• Unlimited thermal movement and a panel design for reduced waste

The recommended panel profile is the Plank and Pencil Profile but it is also available in a Smooth Profile finish.
