Cable Railing Design Award Goes To Charlotte Designer
Bob Bazemore of the design firm of J. Robert Bazemore in Charlotte, North Carolina is the recipient of the latest Ultra-tec® Cable Railing design award, according to Raymond Kechely, Vice President of The Cable Connection, the manufacturer of Ultra-tec® cable railing products.
The award was given for the fabrication and installation of a unique stair railing in a residence in Charlotte.
According to Kechely, the award is given for the design of the railing in relation to its setting and for the appearance and quality of fabrication of the railing. The Cable Connection supplied the tensioners and cable. A local miscellaneous metal firm constructed the frame.
“When I saw this railing, I knew it was a winner,” Kechely said. “It is a striking design, high-tech in appearance and blends so well into the interior of the home. Bazemore also used the same style on exterior balconies in the home, tying all of the railings together as well as I have ever seen. We’re proud to have our fittings on these railings”
