He has served as the CEO of the Engineering and Utility Contractors Association, one of the largest and most innovative contractor organizations in the Western U.S. for over 25 years. He is also the author of Alpha Dog: Leading, Managing & Motivating in the Construction Industry. “I’m uncomfortable with the idea of turning, 20, 40, 80, 100, 200 million dollars over to some guy based on his personality rather than a professionally prepared individual who is warranted to do that job,” he says.
