Description: The participants will gain a basic knowledge of the history of metal roofing, including origins and pertinent dates. Also, they will gain understanding of how steel is made as well as some raw material manufacturing processes. Other roofing materials, gauges and coating information will be discussed as well. This program will help provide information on whether metal roofing is applicable for current or future projects.
